Jim DeLillo Memoriam

In Loving Memory of
Jim DeLillo
9/7/1937 - 9/15/2011

It's hard to believe that it's been a year today
That you closed your eyes and drifted away.
Our hearts still ache;
we try not to be sad,
But you not being here
still hurts so bad.
We miss you more than words can express,
And we know that our
God called on the best.
We know you're in heaven, watching from above,
Guiding and protecting us with all of your love.
We try to live life as
'normal' as you would
expect us to do,
But not a day goes by,
that our thoughts don't turn to you.
You were there to make us laugh, to hug us when
we cried.
You taught us morals and values, you were always
by our side.
There's nothing more
precious than family, this we've learned to be true.
And the link in our family is now broken, because of the absence of you.
If love alone could have saved you, then you would never have died.
And we would give
anything for one more day, to have you at our side.
We hope you know how proud we are, to have
had you in our life.
How proud you made your children and of course, your loving wife.
We could continue and
go on and on and still
not be able to share,
How much we love and miss you and how much we wish you were here.
Forever in our hearts
Your loving wife Ruth
