Joseph Jabrocki Obituary

Joseph J. Jabrocki
Age 86, of Canton, passed away Friday, Oct. 2, 2009. He was born Jan. 19, 1923 in East Douglas, Massachusetts to the late George and Mary Jabrocki. Joseph grew up most of his life living near Pittsburgh, Pa. He married his wife, Wilma and lived the rest of his life in Canton. Joseph was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a self-employed mason contractor and worked for 12 years at George Waikem Ford dealership. Joseph enjoyed boxing and later in life became interested in golf and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma and sister, Norma Dix. Joseph is survived by his three children, son, John (Bonnie) of Uniontown; daughters, Linda (Mick) Shaull of Canton and Susan Goins of Akron; five grandchildren, Valerie, Alyson, Lee, Jaclyn and Kelly; several great- grandchildren; sisters, Mary Morrone and Anne Rashlich.
A private service and burial took place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Aultman Hospital, 2600 6th St. SW, Canton, Ohio 44710. The Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements. Joe ran titles for me when he & I worked at Waikem... He & I shared lots of good times & fun.. He always kept me on my toes...I am sure he will be sorely missed.
