Kenneth Welch Obituary
Age 59, of Dennison, Magistrate for the Tuscarawas County Southern District Court, passed away Sunday after a short illness.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00– 8:00 p.m. in the Linn-Hert- Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Friends will celebrate Ken's life in the funeral home's chapel on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. Private burial will take place in the Foxfield Preserve at Wilmot, Ohio.
Those unable to attend may send the family personal condolences by signing the online guest registry located on the funeral home's website.

I was very saddened to hear of Ken's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family through this time of loss. Ken represented me in the late 80's for a very emotional domestic violence case. I will never forget his compassion and understanding which helped get me through the most difficult time of my life. He was a great man.

I had the privilege of working with Ken through the Village of Scio. He was always on task and eager to answer any and all questions. His warm smile and pleasant personality will truly be missed at our council meetings. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Becky, We were shocked and saddened to hear about Ken's passing. It's unbelievable that he could be gone so young. Seems like only yesterday we were meeting him in Athens for the first time. My heart goes out to your family. kenny was a great man and I my heart broke to hear of his passing. He was my favorite of all of my husbands' fellow attorneys, he just could make you smile with warmth whenever you talked to him. My condolences to the Welch family. I was one of the fortunate to have met Ken. He was truly a great man with a ready smile and soft manner. The community has lost someone truly remarkable.

I had just talked to Ken recently, and I was glad that I did. He was a caring and insightful person, and I was always interested in talking with him. My prayers go to Becky, Lauren, Dylan, and the rest of the Welch family.
