Lawrence Schafrath Obituary

Lawrence (Larry) David Schafrath 1942-2016
73, of North Canton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 26, 2016, after a short illness at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born to Norman and Mary Kathryn (Starr) Schafrath on July 30, 1942 in Wooster, Ohio. He graduated from Wooster High School in 1960 and from the University of Dayton in 1964. He was the previous owner of Wooster Beauty College.
Larry is survived by his wife, Debra (Green) Schafrath of Redding Calif.; and a son, Christopher Schafrath of Portland Ore.; parents-in-law, Bernell and Pearl Green of North Canton; siblings: Dick and Judith (Rush) Schafrath of Mansfield, Joe and Kathleen (Schafrath) Blubaugh of North Canton, Bernie and Tencha (Dominguez) Schafrath, Edward Schafrath, Michael and BethAnn (Fry) Schafrath all of Wooster and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Attwell Church in Akron.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on April 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., at Gateway Church, 3056 Raymond Ave., Green Ohio 44685. Rev. Bob Stryker will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to American Heart Assc., Attwell Church or a church or charity of your choice.
