Mae Lammlein Obituary

Mae Lammlein
Mae Lammlein, of Tallmadge, age 86, passed away
July 12, 2008, after a short illness. Born in Barnsboro, Pennsylvania, in 1922, spent most of her life in the Akron and Tallmadge areas. Mae married Carl on May 8, 1940, and spent her early married years raising her sons. Mae was a very active member of Our Lady of Victory Church where she worked as a sacristan for many years. She also dedicated many years managing "Our Lady's Gift Shoppe" at OLV. Mae was very proud that she was able to financially support various church projects with money made from gift shop sales. Husband Carl Sr. precedes Mae in death. Mae is survived by sons: Carl J. Lammlein Jr. of Uniontown, James R. (Bonnie) Lammlein of North Canton, Mark A. (Winnie) Lammlein of Brewster and Joseph H. (Caroline) Lammlein of Clinton; grandchildren: Chrissy, Joseph, Sharon, Dan, John, Sandy, Karl, Jim II; 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A very special thanks to the Monsignor DeWalt, all sisters and staff at House of Loreto and to the parishioners at Our Lady of Victory Church for their care, cards and prayers. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave. in Tallmadge, with Fr. John Hengle and Fr. David Halaiko officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown. Calling hours were 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle). Memorial donations may be made to House of Loreto, 2812 Harvard Ave. N.W., Canton, Ohio 44709, or Our Lady of Victory New Development Fund, 73 North Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278.

MARK & FAMILY....GOD while walking in his garden saw a beautiful flower flourishing in it's own way .It was called MAE of the Lammleins , so beautiful .oh so special .
