Marian Michaels Obituary
Marian L. Michaels, 83, of Port Orange, FL died unexpectedly on August 13, 2008.. Born in Canton on March 26, 1925 to Bernys and Ralph Vought, she graduated from Canton Township High School and married Robert Michaels in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Paul Neiss of Canton; grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Hallock of Green and grandson, Dr. Daniel (Tiffany) Neiss of Cincinnati; great grandchildren, Robbie and Delanie Hallock and Olivia and Luke Neiss; brother, David (Phyllis) Clouse of Colorado Springs, CO. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, 6900 Market Ave N, Canton. Memorial donations may be made to ACS Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, 3774 Muirfield, Uniontown, OH 44685 or online at makingstrides. acsevents.org. All donations should be credited to Team Hallock walking in the 2008 Canton Ohio Walk.

Our Sincere Sympathy to the Family of Marion. We rode our bikes 7 am & 7 pm weekdays.. Great memories of her on Monday nights at Amos McDaniel school for volly ball.

To Carole and family: I am so happy I got to know Marian. She was a warm, friendly woman, but most importantly, she was a straight-shooter. After my mom died three years ago, I turned to her for advice. I have to say I didn't always like the advice she gave, but I sure did respect it. And, in the end, her advice turned out to be right on. I am so thankful I got to spend time with her during her last two weeks, visiting and keeping her company. I believe she knew how much I cared about her. So, my most sincere condolences to Carole & Paul, and the grandchildren and great grandchildren she loved so much, and who will miss her dearly.
