We met Mark through our son Todd. Both had a passion for sailing. That is when our adventures began. We got to sail with them. We have many memories of Mark jumping around that boat, cooking for us, telling crazy stories, and making us laugh so hard.

Mark was loving, kind, a hard worker, funny, and excited about each new day.

We will miss you Mark.

Love, Rich and Jean Kapp

Mark was a very unique person. Someone at would look at person as a person. Not judging them in any way. A person that loved people and wanted to be love by them. I know that alot of people did. His smle or his way he would look at you, you knew he care about you. I just wanted say that if anyone that knew him or just met him. He would make you feel like you new him forever. And he would be forever in my heart.

Uncle Mark taught us to never give up hope, to live life to the fullest and to do what we want, no matter what other people think. Thank you, Uncle Mark. I want to live life the same way, full of hope, fun and laughs.

I'm glad Mom, Uncle John, Aunt Linda and Grandpa all got to spend a week to celebrate Mark's life with him, the way Uncle Mark wanted it to be. I pray and hope that they all find peace in their hearts to let go and live life just like Uncle Mark, full of fun.

Love you all.

As the oldest of Marks siblings and Mark’s only brother my visit with him during the few days prior to his death was full of wonderful thoughts and memories both past and present and shall remain with me forever. There were times that Mark was in rare form and big brother was the subject of some teasing which Mark seem to really enjoy. Mark’s infectious laugh and personality was enjoyed and admired by all and was an inspiration to others. He was truly a unique and wonderful brother.

To my father, two remaining sisters, my wife and Marks extended family I want you to know Mark loved each and everyone of you and I am very proud of you and for the love and support you gave Mark. Let’s not only remember Mark but also look to the future and to the wonderful memories Mark left us with. I love you all.
