Mary Shekels Obituary
Shekels
86 of Beach City passed away Sunday, June 29, 20114 at Altercare of Navarre following a period of declining health. She was born at Beach City, the daughter of the late Charles and Hilda Larson Bitticker and had been a life resident. She was a homemaker, retiring as a dental assistant in 2000. Mary Jayne was a member of First Lutheran Church, Pythian Sisters and Fireman's Auxiliary all of Beach City.
Surviving are one son, Duane Shekels of Canton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane (David) Jones of Brewster, Carol (Raymond) Ritchey of Canton; grandchildren, David (Christa) Jones, Melissa (Jesse) Cross, Zachary Ritchey, Sarah Ritchey; Step grandchildren, Robert (Sandi) Ritchey, Rita Muller and two great grandsons, Uriah and Caleb Cross; three step great grandchildren, Emma Jo Ritchey, Sean Ritchey and Wyatt Muller.
A celebration of life service will be held, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in First Lutheran Church, Main St. Beach City with Rev. Miguel Acosta and Rev. Darla Ann Kratzer officiating. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. There will be no calling hours. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 355 or Beach City Fire and Rescue P.O.
