"A Tribute To My Brother"
He had awakened early, almost an hour early on the last day I saw my brother. He was ready to go when I arrived, and was at my car before I even turned off the engine. We were going fishing at Sippo Park and he was ready to go. I will never forget the way he smiled when he got in and put on his seatbelt. He has the warmest smile and it melts my heart every time I see it. He was such a happy boy. There aren't any times that I can remember him being angry for more than a few moments. And when he got over it he would smile. He played with his dog Smokey every day, and loved to read every night. He played basketball and loved to go fishing. Mike and our mom decorated for every holiday and he always made decorations and pictures that hung on every wall in the house. Every challenge he faced he did with high spirits. And he always came out on top. He was very smart and wanted to know everything about anything he came across. He was a great student in school, and had many friends at Hope Academy and at Dueber Elementary. He loved his family very much. Our mother and father mean everything in the world to him. And he loves me. And we love him so much. Our entire family loves him so much. His best friend is our cousin Nate, and Nate is a great best friend to have. He loved everyone in our family and always spoke of all of them every time I saw him. Mikey is an Angel. He represents everything that is good in this world. It is so unfortunate that we lost a great human being. But during the times that we are facing, the world needs angels. And God has chosen a great one. There have been many sons and daughters, and mothers and fathers, cousins and best friends, that God has taken to be angels. And we must always love and cherish them. I thank everyone who has contacted and visited my family, and said so many kind words. All of your prayers are greatly appreciated. All of our friends have helped us to remain strong. All of my friends, whom I love very much have made the days so much easier. My amazing girlfriend Julianna has been by my side every moment, and I could not have made it without her. Mike loved her very much. Our Mother Linda and Father Jim loved Mike so much, and I know they share the pain that I do. We will get through this together and we will be much closer than ever before. Our entire family will be much closer. And I hope that because my beautiful little brother had so much love to give, that we all can become closer. On the very last day I saw my brother, he caught a nine and a half inch bass. I am so proud of him and he will always be my hero.
I love you boy, David

I didn't know Michael but I know some of his friends, one was his ex girlfriend and the other talked about him on the news, so I know he was a good kid. It's hard to believe that he's actually dead and noone will see him again. I'm sorry,

My name Is David Lee, Michael is my brother. The pain, shock, horror and disbelief of his passing will be with me forever. I love him very deeply and will miss him with every beat of my heart. He is my hero, my savior, and the most loving and compassionate human that I have ever known.
I have read every entry in this guestbook many times and I have cried and smiled and laughed. I will continue to read this guestbook for the rest of my life, not only to remember Michael but to appreciate the kindness of so many people who have taken the time to share their feelings and kind words. In Memory Of Michael Alan Crislip

Why God Takes Little Children

When God calls little children
to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question
the wisdom of His love.

For no heartache compares with,
the death of one small child.
Who does so much to make our world,
seem so wonderful and mild.

Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to His fold.
So He picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few.
To make the land of heaven
more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows
will always be Good-bye.

So when a little child departs,
we who are left behind,
Must realize God loves children.
ANGELS ARE HARD TO FIND!

It can't be said enough how special "The Boy" was too all of us. I remember one of the days where I showed up at the house to hang out with Dave and Mikey was playing watching tv, he was just happy to be who he was and where he was! I remember the way he just kinda looked at me and smiled asking if I'd watch cartoons with him. He loved, respected, and allways tried his best for his family. Mikey was a success in every way as a person and will be carried with all of us in our hearts!

Mike entered your life in 1994
and in July god opened another door
He said to Mikey come with me
an angel is what I want you to be
to watch over your family day and night. To kiss them and hug them and hold them tight.
As you cry he will dry your tears
and be with each and every one of you through the years. He will let you know he is always there with every happy memory that you share. With deepest sympathy. Tammy Wagner

I am a stranger that wants you to know there are many people praying for you during this painful time.

I am sorry for the loss of your dear Michael. I read in the newspaper the story of the tragic fire that resulted in his death .

I pray that God will surround you with wide open arms for the hugs you will need; shoulders strong enough for you to lean on; words, cards, and various other expressions of comfort; but, most of all the love of many to sustain you during the days, months and years to come.

God Bless You.
