Mihail 'Mike'
Mihailides
Age 89, of Canton, passed away Friday afternoon, Aug. 8, 2011. Born in Depotamia,
Greece, he immigrated to Canton in 1967. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Parthena (Tsaftarides) Mihailides on July 16, 2011. A member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Mike's passions were gardening and playing cards at the Greek coffee house. His grandchildren called him 'Coffee Shop Papou'. An avid walker, in his later years he would ride the SARTA bus and was very well known and liked by all the bus drivers.
He is survived by his children: Paraskevi (Steve) Papadopoulos, George Mihailides, Stylianos (Diane) Mihailides, Maximos (Hanane) Mihailides; and grandchildren, Maria (Mike) Minger, Parthena (Lee) Walker and Anastasia Mihailides.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, with services to follow at 11 a.m., Rev. Dr. Daniel Rogich officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.

we have all been through alot these past 5 weeks, at least now it can all be put to a rest. My grandparents are together at last in heaven. they will both be missed deeply.
