Mildred Heiser Obituary

Mildred G. Heiser
Age 95 of Perry Heights, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, in her home surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness. She was born in Akron, Ohio, on Nov. 11, 1913, to the late Almon and Ima (Hurlbert) Landon and moved to the Canton area early in life. Mildred enjoyed life as a housewife and was an avid reader and gardener. She was a faithful member of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church for many years.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clyde R. Heiser (1987); sisters, Dorothy Knott and Ruth Landon; brothers, Clarence and Victor Landon. Survivors include her son, Dennis (Shirley) Heiser, and a grandson, Matthew Heiser, all of North Canton, Ohio; a sister, Lois Osborne of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Hospice of Stark County and especially the team of Judy, Lyn, Tina, Kim, and Patty. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Hospice of Stark County, 3611 Whipple Ave. NW, Canton, Ohio 44718 and/or Westbrook Park United Methodist Church: 2521 12th St. NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Rd. NW, North Canton, Ohio 44720 with Pastor John Mather officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.

Dennis And Family, Sorry to hear about your Loss. She was a wonderful person i had the pleasure of meeting and enjoying at our family reunions... She loved life and all around her. Now she is with God To share her happiness and smiles .. She will never be forgotten.... My Thoughts and prayers are with u and the entire Heiser Family!
