Calling hours will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 700 Market Avenue South from 10-12 Noon with Funeral Service following at NOON. Pastor Charles Prince officiating and Pastor Rickey Lawson of Little Rock, Ark. will be eulogizing.

My Dear Odean,
Your Mother and My Grandmother (Savannah Cherry) were sisters in every sense of the word. They were recently divorced young women with a child to raise in a new town with no family or friends. However, their faith in God led them to Shiloh Baptist Church and each other.
Aunt Ora has been a steadfast presence in my life. She has given me not only her "homspun" knowlege but most of all great joy. I will always treasure the love and support she has always given to me and the many happy times we have shared.
