Patricia Jeffries Obituary

Patricia "Pat" Jeffries

born May 24, 1942 in Wooster, OH to the late Albert G. and Clara (Carpenter) DiOrio Sr., she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law Joseph Jeffries Jr. and Edward Beathler, father and mother-in-law Joseph Sr. and Rhea Jeffries.

She was a graduate of Wooster High School Class of 1960. Pat attended Kent State University where she met the love of her life James Jeffries. They married and began their life together on August 22, 1964. They lived their entire married life in Canton where they raised their two sons James Jr. and Timothy Jeffries. She was a member of Aultman Women's Board. She loved playing golf, bridge, Donald Trump, but most of all spending time with family and friends. Pat was a wonderful, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years James Jeffries, sons James Jr. (Lori), Timothy (Erin) Jeffries all of Canton, grandchildren James (Dusty) Jeffries III, Matthew (Lauren) Jeffries, Allison (Brandon) Flores, Gabriel Jeffries and fiance' Steven King, Megan (Joseph) Godfrey, Max Johnston, Tony, Louie, Vincent, and Vivian Jeffries, five great grandchildren, brother Albert (Linda Ogden) DiOrio Jr. of Wooster, sisters Rosalie Beathler of Mansfield, Deborah (Frederick) Potter of Wooster, many nieces and nephews and best friend and sister by heart Diane Varavvas of Hartville.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4 to 6 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 10:00 am, at Christ the Servant Parish with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano celebrant. The funeral procession will form at church Thursday. Interment will be in Northlawn Cemetery.

Became instant friends. We enjoyed every minute that we shared with this beautiful couple. Our love and prayers go to you Jim and your family. May God hold you all in his loving arms and give you comfort as you mourn the loss of your beautiful wife and mother.
