PAUL PUCCI Obituary

Paul L. Pucci 1937-2019

Age 81 of Louisville, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at St. Joseph's Senior Living, surrounded by his loving wife and family. Paul was born on December 21, 1937 in Canton to the late Julius "Jiggs" and Bernice (Concato) Pucci. Paul was a life member of St. Anthony/All Saints Parish, where he graduated from the eighth grade. He was a 1955 graduate of Central Catholic High School where he served on many alumni reunion committees and was chairman of the 50th reunion. Paul served six years in the Navy Reserves. He retired from the Timken Bearing Company, as a machinist, in 1999 after 44 years of service. Paul enjoyed golfing in the St. Anthony's Golf League and bowling for the K of C Council #341; he also loved deer hunting. Paul was an umpire and coach for his children's sporting events. He and Rosanne never missed his grandchildren's sporting events at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Paul was known for his story telling and was a friend to everyone. Paul also loved going out every Friday night with "The Gang."

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet (Buch) in 1985; son; Paul; sisters, Amelia Pucci, Joanne Buch; brother, Joseph Pucci and brother-in-law, Don Farelli. Paul is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rosanne (Muoio) Pucci; sons, Mark Pucci, Stephen (Sue) Pucci; daughter, Darlene Clark; step-children, Bob (Anne) Silagy, Larry "Pudge" Silagy, Regina (Larry) Brown; sister, Anita Farelli; sisters-in-law, Virginia Vernier, Joyce Muoio; brother-in-law, Andy Dasco; and 16 grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony/All Saints Parish, with Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski as celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

I remember Paul from when I worked at Country Fair Lanes in the early to mid 70's. To me he seemed like a mountain of a man but was always gentle. A good man who will be missed I am sure.
