Pedro Burrows Obituary
Age 70, of Canton, Ohio, was called home by his Heavenly Father on Monday, August 22, 2016, following a brief illness. He was born in Welch, W. Va. on October 10, 1945, to the late, Rubin and Barbara (Gore) Burrows. Pedro was a self-employed trucking entrepreneur and most enjoyed trucking with his sons.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his oldest brother, Connie Burrows; and daughter, Twila Wilson.
Pedro is survived by the mother of his children, Shirley Burrows; children, Anthony (Pam) Burrows, Aaron (Inita) Burrows, Allen Burrows, MeLeigha Redrick, Angela Jackson, Ruben (Felicia) Burrows, Michael Cleveland, Clarissa Ramirez, Pedro Wilson, Pedro “Peety” Wilson, Viola Wilson, Eliza Wilson, Barbara Burrows, Solomon, and a host of others; fifty-five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Rubilee Crier of Ala. and Barbara Dampier of Calif.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. at Pentecostal Keys to the Kingdom inside of Montage Youth Center (708 Tremont Ave. SW, Massillon, OH 44647) with Bishop Gerald L. Evans officiating. Family and friends may call two hours prior to the service, at the church. His daughter Angela will be receiving guests at her home (5148 Ridgeglen Cir. NW, Canton, OH 44708). Services under the direction of the Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home of North Canton, Ohio (330-452-4041).

Dear Uncle Pedro;
I know all are rocking in heaven since you got there. First time I saw your bad self, I was about six years old. I was born in Alabama where you and Grandpa Rubin came to convince your older sister, Ruby Lee Burrows-Swann, to relocate to Ohio. Well, she and my dad packed everything in an old car and headed to Massillon, Ohio around 1959. I always admired your free spirt and hard work ethic. Now both your sisters have joined you. My mom, Ruby Lee Burrows- Swann/Crider and this week, Barbara Burrows-Dampier. Where do the years fly off so fast? I love you uncle, Peaceful journey Uncle Pedro Elliot Burrows.
