Rita Leyda Obituary
age 71, of Olney, Md., passed away April 27, 2016 following a brief illness. Rita was a 1962 graduate of Malvern High School. She was a compassionate, caring nurse. Rita enjoyed many hobbies, but later in life she found happiness in her children and grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Vincent Savona, Sr. and Julia (Bai) Savona. Survived by three children, Deri (Tom) Rowe and Scott Rogers of Olney, Md., Brian (Tiffany) Leyda; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene (John) Adams of Malvern and Theresa Cogan of Louisville; three brothers, Frank Savona of Malvern, John (Sally) Savona of Minerva, Vincent (Elaine) Savona, Jr. of Virginia; sister-in-law, Marilyn Marmo of Malvern. Preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Savona; a brother, Wayne Savona.
Services were held May 6, 2016 in Olney, Md.
