Robert Breiding Obituary
Robert J. “Bob” Breiding, 83, of Alliance passed away May 17, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Akron, Ohio on June 18, 1932 and lived most of his life in the Stark County area. After retiring from 40 years as a meat cutter, he enjoyed fishing, tending to his Christmas tree farm, and spending time with his family. He was a proud Navy veteran serving on the USS DesMoines, a member of St. Joseph Maximo Parish and a past member of Lake P'Na Sportsmen's Club.
Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Donna, daughters Shirley (Kirk) Glockner of Wilmington, N.C., Patricia (Mark) Hogrebe of Millstadt, Ill., Kathy (Ron) Secrest of Malvern, Theresa (Mike) Estock of Beloit, Debbie (Rick) Cuenot of Louisville, Donna (Scott) Fitzgerald of Alliance, stepson John Helmkamp of Canton, 18 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sister Jeanette Toussant and brothers James (Mary) and Jerry (Jane) all of Alliance. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Matilda (Bechter) Breiding, wife Narice (Truscott) Breiding, brothers Louis (Sylvia) of Barberton and Thomas (Patricia) of Lindwood, Mich. and half-sister Virginia (Jerry) Uhrig of Ketterington, Ohio.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a charity of your choice. There will be no calling hours and Bob's arrangements are at the direction of the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home of Louisville.

I am very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. My memories of him go back over 60 years. Always one to lend a hand to my parents in their later years.

To the Breiding Family,
Had many wonderful days working with Bob at Krogers and Parkland. What a great guy. Hard worker and always willing to give a hand. Help me put in a gas water heater at my home. Many stories of Bob and Jerry and there card playing and fishing expeditions. He loved his daughters and family wholeheartedly. Wish that I could attend the services but have commitments on Monday.
