Robert Combs Obituary
Born Aug. 8, 1948, Bob passed away Aug. 3, 2015, in Merritt Island, Fla., from complications following a heart attack. He died with his children, Robert Combs and Tracy Green; and two of his best friends, Brenda and Elliott Leadley at his bedside. Bob was a brilliant carpenter and craftsman. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix or build. He loved spending time with his family and friends, fishing, and watching Redbox movies.
He is preceded in death by his father, Victor Combs; and brother, Dennis Combs. He is survived by his mother, Betty Combs; sisters, Linda Huffman, Sue Shepherd, and Tina Combs; his children, Robert and Tracy; ex-wife, Shirley Flesher; grandsons: Bradley Combs, Samuel Gansen, Christian Green, and Carter Green; and many nieces and nephews.
Please join the family for a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Aug. 30th., with a celebration of his life immediately following at VFW Post 3747, 1935 Avalon Ave. N.E. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice.

Boy the stories we will share about you by dear brother in law. You were my first defender all those years ago. Can't even imagine thinking back how many times you and I wanted to kill each other.....lol...but we never really meant it. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest my friend knowing you were loved.

I am soooo glad Uncle Bob was able to come to grandma's 90th Birthday party this past May and I got to see him and spend a little time with him. Love you Uncle Bob!
