To the Hauensteins

So sorry that I was not able to visit with you during the funeral time. I especially enjoyed my conversations with your husband and father these past few years. He was always so gracious when we spoke. I cannot say that I know how you feel but I would have you know that I am saddened by your loss. Thanks for being a part of my formative and later years.

Kenna, Mark, Jeff, Amy, Joey, & Polly,

I just found out today from my sister, Sue (Sarah), of Bob's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all of your loved ones.

I remember how much he and Kenna did for our family when my Dad passed away those many years ago. While we were not there to give our condolences and assistance, I hope and believe that the favors you did for us were likely returned to you by others in your time of need.

My deepest sympathy.

Dear Kenna,
I'm sure you don't remember me but Bob was one of the best educators I ever worked with - all of my children were lucky enough to be in his school @ Nimisila & I was on the school board & served as his PTA Pres. - I could not have made it without his support - He was a wonderful man & touched so many children with his love & kindness. The world will be a little dimmer without his shining light.

To the Hauenstein Family:

It seems like a lifetime ago that Mr. Hauenstein flew down the halls at Nimisila Elementary School. I was fortunate to have him as principal for all six year of my elementary years at Nimisila. I remember how he amazed all of us with his energy and spirit. He ran circles around us but never without a smile. He was a very kind man and always had the interest of "his"(Nimisila) kids first. I have many fond memories of those years and I hope that your lifetime of memories will give you peace and comfort at this sad time. Thank you for letting us steal a little part of Mr. Hauenstein for ourselves so many years ago.
With Sympathy,
