Sam A. Muntean
Sam A. Muntean, age 94, of Canton passed away unexpectedly Saturday July 5, 2008. He was born April 15, 1914 in Canton to his parents, Sam and Varvara (Greavu) Muntean. Sam was a 1932 graduate of Timken High School (formerly Central High) and was a veteran of the US Navy serving during World War II. He retired from The Gates Corp (formerly Automatic Steel Products/ASPRO). A Graveside Service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Forest Hill Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Gary A. Smith officiating. My family and I were so sad to hear about the passing of such a wonderful man. We spent many happy times with Sam and my Aunt Eleanor when we all lived in Florida. He will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
