My prayers to Tom's family..
I knew Tom for many years.. back then, he still was working as a firefighter, and he let my nephew, who was visiting from Texas, come to the firestation, showed him all around.. he was just 3yr old.. and wanted to be a fireman.. He put him in boots, hat, sat him at the wheel and let the fire truck coast out the driveway.. have it on video..and gave him a badge. to this day, my nephew will ask me about Tom. He was one of the kindest person you will ever meet...
Haven't seen Tom for a few years , his suffering is over. RIP my friend

Tom was a great since 1976. He could always make me laugh with his stories and would do anything for almost anyone. We spoke just a couple months ago. I will miss him. Sending sympathies and prayers to his family. RIP my friend.

Never a dull moment around Tom, at the fire station or out and about. He could have written a book of his experiences. John Cespedes

Tom was a wonderful man, I worked for him for a few years and we became very close. After he sold his restaurant we still called each other just to check in. Me and my sisters ended up buying the firehouse and he would come in almost everyday while we were doing updates, it felt do good to have him there with us. I feel like a part of me is missing but I am glad I have his restaurant to hopefully carry on for him. My condolences go out to his family. He will definitely be missed. I love you Boss Man Tom!
