Mrs. Schmidt was my favorite 5th grade teacher. I thought about her often as I left elementary school, as she was such a great teacher for me.

The BEST teacher! She was my 2nd grade teacher. Then she went to teach 5th grade and my family moved when I was in 4th grade and I was so angry at my parents because she would have been my teacher for 5th. She was an amazing woman and teacher! She will be missed. Prayers to you and you're family.

My sincere condolences to the family. My first experience with Barbara was as a parent. She taught 3 of my 4 children. She retired as a coworker. I adored her. She was a wonderful teacher, friend and coworker. I feel blessed to that she touched the lives of my children. She touched so many over the years. Her legacy wilive on in those she taught. May you find peace in all the memories you have made with her.

Mrs. Schmidt was my 2nd ( I think ) and 5th grade teacher at ridgeway elementary school.. I remember my last day of school i cried all the way home on the school bus because I know I would miss her so much. The way she taught me my multiplication I also taught me sons.
