Charles J. " Chuckie" Walsh, Jr., 48, a 27-year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Cape Saint Clair, MD, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the University of Maryland Capital Region Hospital. Born on September 22, 1974 in Oakland, CA to Carmella and Charles J. Walsh, Sr., he graduated from Broadneck High School and attended Anne Arundel Community College. Chuckie worked most of his life in the service, healthcare, and recreation industries. He was a long time member of the 12 Steps Fellowships. Chuckie's interests included playing his guitar, composing music, hiking, weight training, and playing videogames. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two siblings, Dominic Walsh of Jarrettsville, MD and MaryAnn Walsh of New York City, NY. Friends are invited to celebrate Chuckies' life on Friday, July 21 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, July 22 at 10:30 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD and on Saturday, July 29 at 10:30 am at St. Blaise Catholic Church, 772 Ohio Ave., Midland, PA.
