Dallas Ned Berry, Sr. was born on February 3, 1934 in Swan Quarter, NC to the late James and Alma Jarvis Berry. He has been a resident of the Glen Burnie area for over 65 years. Mr. Berry proudly served in the Army from 1954-1956. During his working life he was a supervisor for the Maryland State Highway Administration. He enjoyed listening to talk radio, he was an avid NASCAR fan and he enjoyed reading maps and the newspaper. In addition to his parents Dallas is preceded by his wife Fannie Berry, sister Evelyn Ellis and brother James Berry. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Sharon Swain and son Dallas N. Berry, Jr. both of Glen Burnie as well as granddaughter Krystal Swain and great grandchildren Bentley and Kali Driver. Mr. Berry passed away suddenly on Nov. 11 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center surrounded by his family.
