It was an honor working with Dave. He was an amazing humanitarian and music lover with a fantastic sense of humor. He and I discussed music and music documentaries many times and laughed a lot. My first year of teaching, I had a student put up a poster outside of his door. It said, "The complaint department has been temporarily moved to Mr. McGhee´s office. Sorry for the inconvenience." Cabrini and various teachers had no idea where this came from. When he walked in, he laughed and said I was me. (Earlier I stopped in to tell him an amusing anecdote and he asked me if I was going to scream at him - I was horrified)! Dave, you were a maverick. The students loved you and I´m sure you´re having a party in the afterlife.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my friend and colleague , Dave Hill. Dave and I worked together at Annapolis High School. He always fostered positive relationships with students,faculty and staff alike. Rest in Peace! Joan A. Valentine

Dave was the first principal I worked with after returning to teaching some 30 years out of the field. He was a great person to work with and had a wonderful sense of humor. I was sorry when he left Glen Burnie and I am sure his loss will be strongly felt.
