Denise Walsh Obituary

Denise Allyson Walsh passed peacefully on December 3, 2020, after a year-long battle with abdominal cancer. Denise Allyson Walsh was a twin sister to Diane Adele Nichols, who formed the psychic mediums known as the PsyTwins. David Barson, Allyson's life partner, Diane, their younger sister, Debbie, and a brother, Stuart, are mourning the loss of someone who helped so many clients with struggles of their own. Allyson, born on March 1, 1951 in Washington, DC, was the first-born of parents Claude and Rosalind Sweitzer, having lived in Cheverly, Gambrills and Millersville, Maryland. She attended Arundel High School, Anne Arundel Community College and graduated from Towson State, majoring in Art. She worked as a graphic designer for several graphics companies in the Baltimore and Washington area before realizing her physic gifts were becoming a full-time job. Allyson and her sister Diane Adele eventually formed the PsyTwins, have a FaceBook page, performed in radio, internet and television as well as large audiences in the Washington, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania area. Both have had the gift of 'seeing' and 'hearing' from the 'other side' since four to five years old. Allyson's greatest delight was to helping clients with their personal issues. Allyson had a world-wide list of clientele, wrote two books; one on Tarot, "The Sacred Tarot Unveiled" and another book on the PsyTwins life story called "Between Two Worlds". A revised Tarot book was being completed as she was struggling with her cancer.

Denise was a beautiful soul. I feel fortunate to have known her. My friend Anne and I would look forward to go visit her occasionally for a reading as she was incredibly gifted. She was very gracious and always so warm and welcoming when we came to see her. Her lovely presence is missed. Sending love and prayers to her family.
Best,

Ah Allyson...I wondered where you went! Bless your heart. I look forward to seeing you in Spirit in the not too distant future. In the meantime, take a well deserved rest before embarking on another physical round. As you know, things on Earth are a little rocky right now. Thankyou for the wonderful reading when MotherMeera came floating into the bookstore in Annapolis. And thankyou so very much for all of the wonderful sharings, learnings and conversations. I, like your many friends and loved ones, love you and wish you all the best. I'll light a candle for you up at the Grotto during this beautiful Easter Season. Visits in dreamtime are always welcome :) Til we meet again dear Friend

We just read the article in Pathways about Alyson's passing. I met her in 1990, and we bacame fast friends, as I was in the spiritual teaching field. I hired her to work with me at Retreats in Berkeley Springs, and we had a few trips together. We worked together at events in Koinonia and Annapolis. She was a true channeler, helping many "awaken" to spiritual realities. We had fun times and she was a wonderful friend. She will be missed by MANY.

Allyson married my husband and I not once, but twice. Her warmth, kindness and sense of humor will be missed. The world has lost an amazing soul. May we meet again one day.

David and Diane, My thoughts are with you. Allyson was a good friend to me for 30 years and I feel the pain the void her passing has left. I'm already missing the regular conversations I had with her. Fly high Allyson, you still have work to do. Edie Staton

I too remember Denise. Was she the twin with the natural dark highlight in her hair? I remember a slumber party at your house and was dumbfounded that you two had your own attached bathroom! I too remember both of you at our 20th reunion -- the only one I ever made or was aware that it was happening. Diane, I know you two will be forever connected. That said, it's awfully hard to lose a best friend and sister!

I have fond memories of Denise and her twin, Diane. I am sorry for your loss Diane. I think the last time I saw you both was at a reunion many years ago. Peace.
