Emory Watts Obituary

Emory Watts Jr.

Emory Fulton Watts, Jr., 84, of Glen Burnie, died Sunday, June 20 of natural causes in his home.

He was born Feb. 28, 1926 in Baltimore and lived in the Brooklyn Park area for 44 years. As a WWII veteran on the U.S.S. White Plains, he served in the Navy for four years. He retired from Watt's Electric Company. Emory enjoyed fishing and crabbing.

He is preceded in death by his grandchild, Michael Watts of Great Falls, Mont.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Watts of Glen Burnie; two sons, Vernon Watts and his wife, Deborah Watts of Eldersburg, George Watts and his wife, Karen Watts of New Windsor; one daughter, Paula Wilson and her husband Robert Wilson,Sr. of Brooklyn Park; seven grandchildren, Tosha Romanoff of Union Bridge, Robert Wilson, Jr. of Brooklyn Park, Tina Wilson of Halethorpe, George Watts of Frederick, Vernon Watts, Jr. of Ruther Glen, Va; Michelle Watts of Westminster, Cindy Watts of New Windsor; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Viewing is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23 at Gonce's Funeral Home, 4001 Ritchie Highway, Baltimore.

Paula & Robert, Vernon & Debbie,

I'm so sorry for your lost, my heart pours out to you all. I didn't find this until Wednesday night at 8:15 or I would have been at the viewing. I will always remember fondly your Dad and our banquet of chicken.
