I´m so sorry to hear of your loss. I knew George back when he attended
Texas A & M. My husband was George Theilen. He and George were roommates in Squadron 12. I have fond memories of visiting my husband at A & M and being around George much of that time. My husband passed away in 2015. Coincidentally he was an OB/GYN doctor also, in the Dallas area. We have a lake home on Lake Cypress Springs in East Texas. Many times as we passed through Sulphur Springs on our way to the lake my husband would comment on George and their A & M days. My condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear about the passing of one of "the good guys". I had the privilege of starting out at the hospital when George was an intern. Intelligent, curious, down to earth, funny, serious when needed, open, caring, and my favorite - a goofball. After he started his practice I would only see him occasionally in the Recovery Room or on the floor. He always stopped to shoot the breeze, and yes he loved his family. What a great legacy he left to them, and he truly lived a life that mattered. God bless you, George. Thanks for being you. And God bless those he left behind, especially Joyce and the girls. You will miss him like crazy, yet he is so embedded in your hearts and souls that his light and love will shine through. Praying for peace and the comfort of your family, friends, and those many patients that he touched the lives of.

Our prayers are with you and your family. "George"-was one of the most down to earth and compassionate doctors I've ever had. He made everything easy in a difficult situation-I'm sorry for your loss.

I only called Dr. Williamson, Dr. Williamson, to his face. I kindly and most respectedly referred to him as George. I considered him more of a crazy, funny Uncle than my OBGYN. He told stories like you were his best friend sharing a beer and gave you advice like your father, holding your hand. He delivered the 2 most precious gifts in my life and I only every gave him a thank you. He was so special. I hope he is talking God's ear off about baseball and telling him about something he just read. George, you will be missed.

George would always share news about his girls and his wife, Joyce. He would say, I don't know, I'd have to ask the boss, she's the one in charge.' It was well known how much he loved all of his girls.
George was quick with a witty story but when it came to the welfare of his patients, he was there ready to stand up for us when we couldn't do it ourselves.
Joyce kept the engine running and his three beautiful clever daughters inspired and gave him tons of joy. Your family is loved by many unknown to you, may you find comfort in knowing that we are all thinking of you.
