Robert Allen “Bob” Brown, 73, passed away on the afternoon of Sunday, March 29, 2026 in Weatherford.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Details will be posted as soon as they are available.
Bob was born January 18, 1953 in Weatherford; son of Winfred Brown and Margot (Moseley) Brown.
He met the love of his life, Mary Ann (Gay) and they were married on July 20, 1984. They would go on to spend nearly 42 happy years together.
Bob graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education.
He would spend his career in education at Weatherford ISD. He would spend most of his tenure teaching science at Hall and Tison middle schools.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pam Tarpley; and brother, Winfred Brown, Jr.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Ann Brown; daughter, Mandy Brown; sister, Joan Lathrop (Russell), of Kentucky; numerous nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
