Dalton Brown Obituary
NEW CASTLE
Dalton E. Brown, age 100, of New Castle, passed away on March 26, 2026. Dalton was a farmer and a member of Port Royal Baptist Church. He loved boating, going to car auctions and spending time with his family. He was the son of the late Claude and Virginia Leslie (Jones) Brown and was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Brown and a brother, Robert "Bobby" Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Anna (Montgomery) Brown; daughter, Janet Tirey (Paul); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial graveside services will be held on April 6, at 1 p.m. at the Port Royal Cemetery with John and Amber Inscore-Essick officiating. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. on April 6 at the Port Royal Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Port Royal Baptist Church.
Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
