Gloria Fogle

Gloria J. (Rose) Fogle, 72, of Drake, ND, died May 29 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey, ND following a three-year battle with cancer.
Gloria Rose, daughter of Almon and Sada (Combs) Rose, was born October 28, 1939, at Painsville, OH, where she grew up and received her education.
She was married to William N. Fogle in 1957. They made their home in Pasadena, where Gloria was employed as an electronic assembler for several government contractors through the years. William preceded her in death in 2000.
She moved to rural Drake in 2004 and in 2006 moved into Drake where she resided until entering the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey in 2011. While living in Drake she attended the United Methodist Church. Gloria was of a Native American heritage. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, camping and swimming.
In addition to William, she was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
Gloria is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William John (Denise) Fogle of Drake and Charles Perry (Mary) Fogle of Jessup; five grandchildren, Jaime Simon, Joshua Fogle, Sarah Fogle, C.J. Fogle and Brittany Leighton; and five great-grandchildren, Alexander and Lily Simon, Abigail and Ryker John Fogle and Avery Leighton.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m., Monday, June 4 at the United Methodist Church in Drake. Arrangements with Bethke-Nelson Funeral Home of Drake.
