Jeffrey Weldon

Jeffrey Alexander Weldon, 50, longtime resident of Annapolis, died on April 15 after a lengthy illness, at Anne Arundel Medical Center, in Annapolis. Jeffrey was born on June 18, 1960, in Annapolis, to Cleola Johnson and the late Alfred Weldon. Jeffrey attended Annapolis Senior High School. Jeffrey worked for his father's janitorial company. He also worked for Gumpert Printing for several years. Jeffrey was a big sports fan. He enjoyed football and basketball. He enjoyed playing the bass guitar and the keyboard. He also read and wrote music. Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Cleola Johnson; his brother, Christopher Weldon and wife Belinda, of Annapolis; his five sisters; Marsha Young of Baltimore and husband, the late, Chester Young, Marilyn Waters and husband Samuel of Towson, Kim Weldon-Randall and husband Rogies of Severn, Gay Weldon of Parkville and Rita Brown and husband Warren of Randallstown; three nieces; eight nephews; three uncles; one aunt; many cousins and friends; and longtime friend Cheryl Smith and family. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 87 West Street, in Annapolis, on Monday, April 25. Wake at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. Arrangements handled by William Reese & Sons Mortuary, P.A., in Annapolis. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 1911 Forest Drive in Annapolis.
