Leroy V. Lam, 79, a 13-year resident of Glen Burnie and previously of Florida, died May 17 at Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Jan. 30, 1931, in Baltimore, to the late Scott and Mary Lam.
He retired from the Board of Education in Bradington, Fla. in the early 1990's. Mr. Lam served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War where he was a POW.
He was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose, and his hobbies included fishing.
He is survived by his son, Gary Lee Lam of Baltimore; his sister, Dorothy Murphy of Upperco; and three grandsons.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A., 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena. Interment private.
