I have known Mr. Oliver (Mr. Oh to me) my entire life. Living next door as a preschooler, He taught me about Ant Farms and raising frogs from tadpoles. Over the years, he made his backyard a menagerie where even the elusive hummingbirds and migratory birds knew where he lived. There was even a Great Horned Owl that could be heard at night. I will miss seeing him in the yard, always tending to his ponds and plants. His passing truly is the end of an era for me. God Bless You Mr. Oh.

So very sorry for your loss. Do not remember much of Oliver, but used to spend time with Uncle Walt and Aunt Carrie. Patty was a teen at that time and Waltie and I were around 11 or 12. I remember Oliver stopping by to visit with them. I know he was a good man, cause he came from 2 of the best

Oliver was a tenderhearted and gentle man. He loved Carol, his children, and grandchildren. He was a man of faith who loved the Lord. I will always remember hearing the stories of the little chipmunk eating out of his hand, and felt his deep sadness when the little chipmunk died. I will dearly miss him and his funny stories, but I have full confidence he is with our Heavenly Father.
