Dear kit, I'm just learning of Court's passing. My love goes out to you, David and Cory. We shared many good times back in the day.

I remember Mr. Richards for his kindness and equanimity. I experienced the former on many occasions - including when he allowed a couple of us to stop by his home one evening for some much needed calculus help. I witnessed the latter in the way he handled the classroom; I never saw him get flustered. He handled situations that might provoke other teachers with remarkable calm (although it didn´t keep him from using a well-aimed projectile of chalk to rouse the occasional sleeping student). I feel fortunate to have been his student at West High. Sincerest wishes of comfort to his family.
