TIMOTHY MCGRIFF Obituary

TIMOTHY REED MCGRIFF Timothy Reed McGriff of Green Forest, Arkansas was born in Warsaw, Indiana on September 18, 1942, to William David and Margaret Lucille (Murphey) McGriff. Timothy passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, in Green Forest at the age of 80. Timothy was Vietnam Veteran, serving in the Navy for 21 years. Part of that time he was a engineer with the Navy Seabees. Later in life he worked as a postal carrier in Eureka Springs. He was of the Baptist faith and loved taking care of rescue dogs at McGriff's Dog Sanctuary. He loved the Razorbacks and watching the games. Timothy is survived by his wife Mary Sims McGriff; sisters Patricia Patelle and her husband Steve of Vincennes, Indiana and Susan Elaine Rapisarda of Berryville, Arkansas, brother David Allen McGriff and his wife Ruth Evon of Berryville, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Margaret McGriff; brother-in-law Victor Rapisarda; nephew Patrick McGriff. No services are schedule at this time. Memorial donations may be made to Nelson Funeral Service, PO Box 311, Berryville, AR 72616 to help the family with final expenses. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
