Allison Utz

Allison Elizabeth Utz, 30, of Westminster, MD, passed away on November 7, 2023. She was born on October 13, 1993. Allison was a beloved daughter, mother, and niece. She is survived by her mother Deanna L Close, her son Liam Daniel Reter, Liam's father Matthew Cody Reter, and her uncle Justin W Bachman. Allison was preceded in death by her father Richard Daniel Utz, stepfather Robert O Smith as well as her grandparents Linda and Charles Lantz, H. Wayne Close, and Earl and Lillian Utz. Allison attended Montessori School and Faith Christian School in Westminster for her primary education and later graduated from Winters Mill High School. She furthered her education at Carroll and Frederick Community Colleges. In her career, Allison worked as a phlebotomist and dedicated her time as a volunteer at the Union Bridge Fire Company. She was passionate about helping others and always had a kind and caring nature. Allison loved music and was a member of the 5678 Dance Troupe at the former Carroll County School for the Performing Arts. She found joy in expressing herself through dance and music. She attended Crossroads Church in Westminster. Allison's remains were donated to HOPE to help others, and there will be a celebration of life in a few weeks.
