Dee,
My heart hurts for you and Liam. Allison is now healed and in our Father´s arms, but that doesn´t take away the sadness and hurt this side of heaven. I´ve been praying for you and will continue to do so. Sending love and hugs.

To Mrs. Close, I am so sorry for your loss. These words of comfort I give to you: To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
To my dear Allison, we started building our bond after the day I had parking lot duty at the school. Mom drove up, you got out and slammed the door like you were trying to tear it off. I made mom stop, I made you go back to the van, hug, kiss mom, and tell her you loved her because you didn´t know if God would allow you to make it through the day to see her again. Of course we would laugh about that years later.
Shortly after that, you asked me what was my favorite cake. I told you German chocolate and you made me one and brought it to the school every year in my birth month of July up until you started in college.
Allison, my memory of you is that smile that you gave everyone that warms their heart and how eager you were to listen to what others had to say. You didn´t have a filter on your mouth so you never held back releasing whatever was on your mind.
I will truly miss you and I know I will see you again when my race in this life comes to an end.

Allison, I will never forget our dance classes together and all of those competitions we went to. I really enjoyed watching you dance and sharing your love for it. Life is so short and we don't realize it until it's too late. May you dance in Heaven for God and your family. Thoughts and prayers to your mother and Liam.

Allison,
You were one in a million. Always positive, and laughing. I never knew what you were going to say but, it was never boring.
Last night we had "chew, chew beef" and my thoughts were of you. When Bobby married your Mom, we were happy to have both of you in our family. Now you are reunited with Bobby and your Dad. I'm sure the hugs are gigantic.
I feel blessed to have you in my life and family. Till we meet again with the Lord... I will always love you.

My first memory of Allison was an energetic, sassy, red headed 4th grader. That year her father passed away and I remember sitting with her at the viewing so she wouldn´t be alone. That day we bonded and stayed in touch and, as she got older, became friends. One thing that always makes me smile is that every time Allison didn´t know an answer on a test or quiz she would write the word, "chicken." She and I have laughed about that for years. She was a beautiful special woman and will greatly missed.
