Charles Ferguson Obituary

Charles Edward Ferguson, 79, of Hanover, PA and previously The Villages, FL, and Lanham, MD, passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2024, with his twin sister, Charleen, and other family members by his side. Born on February 19, 1945, in Cheverly, MD, he was the son of the late Warren Townshend Ferguson, Sr. and Dorothy Grace (Owen) Ferguson. Charles was also preceded in death by his siblings, Warren Townshend Ferguson, Jr. and Sharon Anne Nicholson. Charles was an electrician by trade and frequently helped his family and his church with construction projects. He was a member of the IBEW Local 26 (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) for over 40 years. Overall, Charles most enjoyed spending time with his family. Charles is survived by his siblings, Richard Owen Ferguson (Elke), Charleen Eleanor Manzo, and Steven Lee Ferguson; siblings in law, Eve Ferguson and Dale Nicholson; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Carrollton Church of God Cemetery, 2151 Bethel Road, Finksburg Maryland, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor TJ Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Tri-County Baptist Church, PO Box 628, Damascus MD 20872. Services and arrangements by Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel.
