Whenever I saw Doug, he was smiling, always smiling and happy. Even in this picture of Doug, he is smiling. Doug was a Good, Down To Earth Guy. An example as to how we all should be. His Family, I am sure, is Proud of Doug.

Doug was an All-Around-Down-To-Earth-Good-Guy! Always a smile for everyone and so easy to know and get along with. I am sure his Family and Friends miss him terribly! May He Rest In Eternal Peace!

My heartfelt sympathy to a wonderful person's family. Dougie was my first boyfriend in the 2nd grade at Elmer Wolfe School and he also graduated with me at Francis Scott Key in 1966. We both worked at Fort Detrick for many years, never crossed paths. He will be greatly missed by all. Heaven has gained another soldier and we, who love the Lord will meet again. So keep the memories alive and continue on. Praying for comfort and peace.

Connie,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't get the news until yesterday. Doug was another brother to me and always made me laugh. I will be thinking about your family during this time.
