Edward S. Yingling

Edward Scott Yingling, 50, of Westminster, died unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at his home. Born April 13, 1959, in Hanover, Pa., he was the son of Melvin Luther Yingling, of Westminster, and the late Dorothy Ann Fox Yingling. He was the husband of Nancy Bailey Yingling, his wife of 19 years. He was a truck driver with Jano Enterprises. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, reading Stephen King novels and working in the garden. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to his father and wife, are stepdaughters Dawn Marie Winland, of Hanover, Pa., and Belinda Ann Grant, of Taneytown; grandchildren Melissa and Zachary Kidd, and Jordan Gesell; a great-granddaughter, Hailey Drechsler; brothers Mark Yingling and wife Sue, of Santa Anna, Calif., Johnny Yingling and wife Cindy, of Hampstead, and Robert Yingling and wife Janie, of Millers; a sister, Kathy Yingling, of Westminster; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown. There will be no service or viewing. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD 21787 to help the family with final expenses.
