Evelyn Lee Wenderoth, 81, of Reisterstown, MD passed away on January 18, 2019. Born January 1, 1938 in Baltimore City, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Edith Gail of Hamilton.Evelyn is survived by her beloved husband of almost 59 years, Osmund Patterson Wenderoth; two sons: Michael Lee Wenderoth and wife Laura of Westminster, MD, Osmund Lawrence Wenderoth and wife Colleen of Upperco, MD; four grandchildren: Autumn Wenderoth, Amanda Wenderoth, Joshua Wenderoth and Riley Wenderoth. She was very excited about the upcoming birth of her first great-grandchild.Evelyn was a graduate of Eastern High School. She worked as a manager at Country Greetings for many years. Evelyn was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint. She was passionate about Nascar and collecting Hummel Figurines and enjoyed working in her garden growing beautiful flowers. Evelyn lived a very fun and interesting life, having traveled all across the country and even through Canada. But above all else being a mother and a grandmother brought her the most joy in life, family was everything to her. Her family fondly remembers her caring and giving nature. She would always put the needs of family, friends, and even strangers before her own. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 pm at the Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg, MD.
