Frank C. Cappadora Sr.

Frank Chris Cappadora, Sr. 70, of Manchester, passed away on July 18, 2017 at the University Of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born December 31, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Catherine (Pappalardo) Cappadora. He was the beloved husband of Nina Cappadora, his wife of 50 years. He was a CEO of several companies and a lifelong entrepreneur. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus; Manchester Lions Club and several Chess Clubs. He enjoyed playing piano and many other musical instruments. He played in the Westminster Municipal Marching Band, the Alesia Band, the 1940's Band and The Thom Roland Dance Band. He also entertained the elderly in many nursing homes and senior centers. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Nick Cappadora and wife Maria of Millers, MD, and Frank Cappadora, Jr. and wife Barri of Manchester, MD; daughter, Cathy Nelson and husband Ken of Westminster, MD; brother, Bill Cappadora and wife Sarah of Manchester, MD; sisters, Joy MacVicar and husband Al of NJ, and Ann Krejnicky and husband Bill of NY; sister-in-law, Debbie Cappadora of NC. Adored by grandchildren Nicholas and Missy Cappadora, Victoria Cappadora, Rosalia Cappadora, Blaine Nelson, Megan Cappadora and Kaycee Nelson. Also survived by several other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Benny Cappadora. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, July 20, 2017, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 21, 2017, 11:00 am at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester with Rev. Michael Roach officiating. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Frank Cappadora, Sr. Memorial Trust. family is establishing to continue his musical legacy.
