Demetra and Deanna:
You may remember me as the neighbor of your dad's cousin,. Lois K. and I have been neighbors for nearly 40 years. Lois told me about your mother's death -- I am sorry. My mother also passed away on December 19 six years ago from a fall that occurred on the day after Thanksgiving. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

In September 1963, I entered Hampstead Elementary School in Hampstead, MD as a painfully shy little girl. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to my new teacher “Miss Kopp”. We shared the same birthday – April 6th. Each year, “Miss Kopp” came to my classroom (all the way through the 6th grade) to wish me a Happy Birthday. Everyone in class knew who it was when we heard the knock on the door. In later years we exchanged birthday and Christmas cards/newsletters. I visited with her and her Mom when they had a home in Manchester. When I saw her obituary I was deeply saddened. Then I thought she has gone home to be with Jesus and what better place could she be but in Heaven. I loved her very much. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Demetra and Deanna, I am so very sorry. I loved your mom very much and I wish I was able to get in to see her before she passed. She was such an encouraging person and a inspiration to those around her. I loved hearing about her time in Greece, a place a long to visit. I loved her stories and her advice. Please know that my prayers are with you and your families at this time.

Demetra and Deanna, You are both in my thoughts and prayers. Your Mom has made an impact on so many lives and I am a better person for having known her and all of you as well. I will miss giggling with her over our stories. She is in my heart and I thank you for the opportunity and honor to have been a part of her life. She was a friend and will leave an empty hole that will need to be filled with fond memories. My love to you all..
