John D'Anthony Obituary

John (Jack) Joseph D'Anthony, III, 72, of Westminster, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at his home. He was born July 23, 1950, to the late John D'Anthony, Jr. and Catherine D'Anthony of Baltimore. Jack was a beloved and devoted husband of over 39 years to the love of his life and best friend, Gail D'Anthony, of whom he tried to make laugh each and every day they were together. After graduating from Mount Saint Joseph, Jack began a tireless 40+ year career at A & P grocery stores which transitioned to SuperFresh, before he retired. Jack was known for his sense of humor and could make an entire room hurt from laughter. Moreover, he loved doing impressions of his favorite actor, Jack Nicholson and even sported a Nicholson-esqe widow's peak. An avid sports fan, he loved to follow his favorite teams, the Raiders, Ravens, Orioles, and Yankees. In addition to Gail, he is survived by his son Adam D'Anthony and his wife Kelley, and their children Abigail and Parker. He is also survived by his daughter Jessica D'Anthony Annoreno and her husband Tony, and their children T. J., Blake, and Gia. Furthermore, Jack is survived by his sisters Sharon and Marilyn, and brother Tom. Not to be forgotten, he is survived by countless friends and family throughout the country who loved him just as much. It was Jack's wishes to not have a funeral or service, but to be cremated and remembered in this manner.
