Joseph Thomas HOLBROOK, 22, of Coudersport, PA, formerly of Ulysses, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022. Born February 12, 1999, in Coudersport, he was the son of Joseph E., III and Wendy Phillips Holbrook. Joseph was employed by Holbrook Construction, being the fourth generation of "Joe's" working together as a family. Joseph had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting. His family and friends enjoyed listening to him tell the stories of his great misses and great successes. Joseph was fond of sports, growing up watching the Baltimore Orioles lose at Camden Yards, as well as watching the Ravens every Sunday. In high school, he participated in four years of baseball, four years of basketball, and one year of track and field at Northern Potter, where he graduated in 2017. He also played four years of football for Cowanesque Valley and went on to play for Alfred State becoming the first Northern Potter graduate to play collegiate football. Surviving are: his loving parents, Joe and Wendy Holbrook of Ulysses; older sister, Hannah Holbrook of Ulysses; paternal grandparents, Joe and Joanne Holbrook, Jr. of Genesee; maternal grandfather, Jerry Phillips of Ulysses; maternal grandmother, Joan Ellis of Austell, GA; aunt, Sandy (Perry) Musselman of Hanover and cousin, Ryan Boyd of Hanover; uncle, Michael (Michelle) Phillips of New Durnham, NH and cousins, Heather Phillips of New Durnham, NH and Jessica Phillips of Rochester, NH. He is also survived by his four-legged companion, Bayer Nipples. He and Bayer rescued each other. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA. Rev. Timothy H. Miller will officiate.
