I do not know Joshuas family, but I also thank you for sharing the pain and truth about addiction. It is a horrible disease and affects the entire family. My nephew died from addiction in February at the age of 34. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve the worst loss imaginable- a child.

I also did not know this young man or his family but as a local high school teacher I have seen too many young people lose their lives to this evil that is ravaging our community. Your words are true and brave, and I hope that they will help someone. My thoughts and prayers go out to you that you may finally have peace.

Unfortunately I do not know this family who is grieving but being a mother who has lost two children my heart and prayers go out to you for the pain you are suffering with at this time. May Joshua Rest In Peace with his creator.
