Kayla Marie Goodman, 28, of Taneytown passed away on Friday, May 27 at her home. Kayla was born on November 23, 1993 in Baltimore City. She was a graduate of Francis Scott Key (FSK) High School in Taneytown. Kayla will be missed by her mother, Beth Roemer and stepfather, Scott Roemer of Taneytown; her two sisters, Kelsie Roeman, Krista Goodman and stepbrother Cody Roemer; two nephews, Lucious "Lu", Davey and her niece, Ava. Kayla also leaves her grandparents, Joe and Dara Lee Forte, Anita Roemer, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kayla was passionate about life and always had a creative soul. She loved art, especially drawing, writing and music. She was an avid reader and basically had a library in her home. Kayla was enrolled in college with a double major in graphic design and psychology while working at the Antrim 1844 Inn in Taneytown. She was always very nurturing to her niece and nephews and often was a second mom to her sisters. She cherished her family. Kayla was predeceased by her father, Edward Goodman and her grandparents Joe and Kitty Goodman. A Celebration of Kayla's Life will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.
