Lillian Blauvelt Obituary

Lillian (Walthall) Blauvelt, age 91, passed away on July 21, 2025, in Sarasota, Florida, after a long and beautiful life filled with love and family. She is lovingly remembered by her children Terry Blauvelt, Dennis Blauvelt, Debra Pifer, and Pamela Eatrides; grandchildren Crystal Pifer, Chris Blauvelt, Jessica Gutherz, and Amy Blauvelt; and six cherished great-grandchildren. Born in Nottoway County, Virginia, Lillian made her home in Westminster, Maryland for most of her life before moving to Sarasota in 2020 to live with her daughter Pam and son-in-law Jim. Lillian's life was rooted in her faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and she found deep joy in sharing the Bible with others for over 60 years. Her unwavering belief in the importance of family and kindness shaped every day of her life. She worked for Random House before starting her own cleaning business which she maintained well into her 80s. Lillian was known for her impeccable home, where everyone was welcome. Her kitchen table was known as a place for laughter, heartfelt conversations, and delicious meals. Lillian will be remembered for her selflessness, her calming presence, and her quiet strength. Her legacy of love and integrity lives on in the many lives she touched.
