Loretta "Retzie" Gobrecht

Loretta Ann "Retzie" Gobrecht, 88, of Upperco, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Brightview Senior Living in Westminster. Born on January 7, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Helen (née Batz) Moser. Loretta was the devoted wife of Gerry R. Gobrecht for 67 years and the loving mother of Lisa K. Gobrecht. Next to her love for family, Loretta enjoyed traveling with Gerry, especially in their RV and playing golf. Some of her golf friends might say she was just a little competitive. Loretta played a key role in the success of the business she and Gerry ran for over 25 years. Her wisdom, generosity, and countless stories will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her. A viewing will be on Wednesday April 23, 2025, from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Rd., Reisterstown, MD 21136. A Graveside service will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2025 in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2800 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, MD 21048. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Bridging Life Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
