Louis Orem Obituary

Louis Elias Orem, 67, of Westminster, MD, died August 6, 2025 at his home. He was the devoted husband of the late Joan Carol Orem, nee Stephan. Born March 24, 1958 in Maryland, Louis was the son of the late Louis Thomas Orem and Dorothy North Hands. Louis was a truck driver for Carroll County Landfill for over 30 years. He enjoyed a cold beer, watching NASCAR, stock car racing, and Ravens football. He especially enjoyed traveling with his late wife, and cherished the time they spent together. He is survived by his son, Louis Thomas Orem and wife Alexandra, of Hanover, PA; step-son, Richard Crunkilton and wife Kerri, of Westminster, MD; grandchildren, Brody, and Delaney; and niece, Lisa Keefer and husband Garret, of Westminster. Louis was predeceased by his sisters, Betty, and Helen. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mount View Rd., Marriottsville, MD 21104. Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, P.A., Westminster. Online condolences may be made at www.myersdurborawfh.com
